Is Lead Asset Management the same as Lead Capital?

Lead Asset Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lead Capital Plc

Can I transfer other shares I have domiciled in other houses to Lead Capital for the purpose of Stock Lending?

Shares in other houses can be transferred to Lead Capital first. Then the shares can be considered for stock Lending.

Will the client incur any cost on Stock Lending?

No cost will be incurred by the client.

Can I get a letter to the embassy showing the stocks pledged?

Yes, Lead Asset Management will give a letter showing details of shares borrowed where such letters are required

Is there a minimum or maximum stock amount required to partake in Stock Lending?

Yes, the product has a minimum acceptable number of units of any shares based on the unit price of the share. This is updated continually and is obtainable from the customer service or reception desk.

Will the client retain any rights to the stocks lent during the Stock Lending agreement period?

Yes, the client retains all the rights and privileges on shares borrowed , except the voting rights during the agreed period. For example the client retains the right to dividend, bonuses, right issues, stock split etc.

How can I determine if my stocks are eligible for Stock Lending?

The list of acceptable stocks is updated weekly and this list is obtainable through the relationship managers or through your contact with leadCapital plc. Through this list you can determine which of your stocks is eligible.

What are the risks involved in lending my stocks to Lead Asset Management?

There is no additional risk to the client on stock lending. Every unit of shares borrowed and dividends shall be returned at the end of the agreed loan period.

Do I get any report on the transaction during the agreed period of Stock Lending?

Report detailing corporate action and the position of all securities borrowed from the client shall be given to the client at the end of the agreed loan period.

Can I partake in Stock Lending with Lead Asset Management if I do not have a Stock broking account with Lead Capital?

Stock lending through Lead Asset Management can only be through your cscs account under Lead Securities & Investment Ltd.

Can I liquidate from stock lending before the end of the agreed period?

Termination before the end of the contract is undesirable, however, a consideration can be given subject to a 2 weeks notice of intention to terminate and payment of the relevant penal fee.
